New digital challenges in translation studies | Faculty of Humanities

The Institute of German Studies of the University of Debrecen and the German Cultural Forum of Debrecen organized an international translation conference on April 22. The online conference focused on the difficulties and challenges posed by the pandemic that translators and trainers involved in translation training faced during the epidemiological period.

The lectures provided an insight into the current issues of Croatian, Slovenian, Romanian and Hungarian translation training, and those interested could also hear about the dimensions of literary translation. The event was moderated by the coordinator of the DE translation master's degree, Dr. Péter Csatár.
