INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

Internationalization enjoys a high priority among the Faculty’s multifaceted missions. A large number of agreements have been concluded with other universities. The Faculty has EU-funded ERASMUS partnerships in 24 countries in 70 cities with larger and smaller universities. Other mobility programs are also available among them: ERASMUS +, CEEPUS, ISEP, CAMPUS MUNDI, intergovernmental scholarships including the V4 countries, and the FULBRIGHT scholarships. Both students and staff members have derived substantial benefit from these exchange possibilities. International students mobility is on the increase and we expect to draw an even larger number of students who we could welcome among our own students. Mixing students is certainly an invaluable learning experience for both parties. The Stipendium Hungaricum launched by the Hungarian government in 2013 has proven to be extremely successful.

International scholars from all over the world continuously visit the Faculty to further already existing collaborations and scholars from the Faculty actively participate in international research groups as well. Organizing international conferences on a regular basis is also on our clear agenda. In addition, applications have been submitted to the Horizon 2020 program, the largest EU Research and Innovative Program. The unrivalled International Research Funding Program initiated in 2018 at the Faculty will be of real help to stimulate the process of internationalization.
